The Minister Certificate Program at Aenon Bible College provides a structured, biblically-based foundation for individuals who feel called to serve in ministry. This program is designed for those preparing for ministerial licensing or anyone seeking to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and develop essential ministry skills.
Whether you are at the beginning of your ministry journey or seeking to formalize your training, this program offers the theological education, spiritual formation, and practical ministry development necessary for effective service in the Body of Christ.
Affiliation and Accountability
Aenon Bible College operates under the covering and guidelines of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (PAW). Ministers certified through this program are expected to represent the standards of holiness, sound doctrine, and ministerial integrity upheld by Aenon Bible College and PAW
The Minister Certification is for ALL new ministers in the local church, and affiliated councils of the PAW will seek a Minister Certification (formerly known as Fellowship Paper) to minister in the local church.
Program Components
The Minister Certification Program includes the following key components:
● Equip students with a solid understanding of biblical doctrine.
● Prepare individuals to enter the ministerial licensing program or entry-level ministry roles.
● Foster spiritual growth, integrity, and servant leadership
● Provide a pathway for further theological studies at Aenon Bible College
Minister Certification Requirements at Aenon:
● Take four virtual classes outlined in the Aenon Bible College curriculum for beginning ministers.
● Upon completion of the Aenon Bible College pre-ministry classes, individual members will receive a certificate of completion to be presented to the local council.
● Minister certification is valid for 2 years,
● After 2 years, must move forward to the Ministerial License program.
● After receiving the minister certification, the following year, annual professional development is required.
● Renewal each year with annual professional development
Course Requirements from Aenon Bible College:
The Role of the Minister
Introduction to Preaching
Bible Survey (Old and New Testament)
History of the Local Council or (History of PAW)
Ministers who are presently holding local papers “Will Not” be required to take the required course but are “Required “to complete the annual professional development and move forward to the ministerial licensing program in two years (beginning June 30, 2025).
Course Framework:
● Classes are organized in a cohort format.
● Specific time for enrollment (a) Spring and (b) Winter
● Timeframe of 2 to 4 months for completion
● Courses are designed in modules of eight (8) weeks.
● The delivery model is hybrid (virtual platforms and in-person)
Cost
Minster Certification $50.00 per course $ 200.00 total
