All leaders involved in providing any area of training and leadership are required to have a commitment to continuous training and development in their chosen field. Productive institutions and organizations typically have a mandate or required number of hours of professional growth and development sessions on an annual basis for all
of its members. Aenon Bible College is the official educational and leadership training
institution of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and has been in operation for 84 years. It was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1941 by the late Bishop Karl F. Smith and has serves as the official learning institution for Apostolic Pentecostal leaders around the world. Aenon Bible College is committed to ensuring the continuing growth and
development of all ministers and leaders in our organization. Development of a Continuing Apostolic Credit (CAC) set of learning seminars will provide our leaders with the substance and content necessary to be effective leaders in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.
Leaders who are interested in advancing their leadership skills and competencies will
have the opportunity to enroll in one or more of the webinar classes. All classes that are often will be aligned with a certificated program that will be offered by Aenon Bible College. All CAC offering will be available on a virtual platform. A mail in correspondence option will be available later in 2026. The cost for the virtual CAC
Master Class Monday seminar will have a base charge of $99.00. There
will be a $15.00 technology charge for each class, making the total amount for the session at $114.00. The seminar in length will be between 90-minutes and 120 minutes. Students will be required to successfully complete the exam/questionnaire at the conclusion of the seminar. Once the seminar is successfully completed, a certificate of completion will be available for download, which will serve as evidence of
completing the seminar.
Students who complete the CAC seminar will have the opportunity to enroll in additional seminars at Aenon Bible College at a reduced cost and have their webinar classes count toward academic credit.
Aenon Bible College will work directly with council level Aenon Institutes to offer on-site options for leaders within the individual dioceses. The Aenon Institute format would allow for an in-person options for those not able to participate with the virtual platform. There will also be an option to participate in a group setting at the annual PAW international convention.
This webinar examines the specific and unique variables that define
exceptional leadership that distinguish the regular leader from those that perform at unprecedented levels. A conceptual framework of exceptional leadership will be shard; including (a) understanding the capacity for exceptionalism, (b) next level mindset, (c) godly exceptionalism, (d) the role of praise, worship and service, (e) spirit led
exceptionalism, (f) sacrifice, dedication and commitment, and (g) managing adversity.
This course will examine the art, power, and delivery mechanisms associated with powerful teaching. Students will be
exposed to organizing, structuring, and implementing a powerful lesson that include background research, alignment of central ideas and thoughts, comparing various theories and strategies to organize and engage students with thought provoking perspectives to encourage everyone to become lifetime learners.
New pastors in the Apostolic Pentecostal tradition often do not have systematic or strategically
oriented approaches to assuming the pastorate of the church. As result,
transition, onboarding, and orientation matters are often awkward,
challenging and lack an orderly process to the leadership of the church.
This webinar will highlight eZective strategies from interview to the first
100 days as pastor. Students will depart this webinar with a strategic plan
to allow the spirit of the Lord to be maximized in the church setting.
As Apostolic Pentecostal preachers and leaders grow in their ministry; a survey seminar in homiletics and hermeneutics is central to understanding and delivering a powerful sermon. This seminar will serve as an introduction to hermeneutics, which analyzes the
systematic interpretation of a text from the bible; while homiletics is essentially the art of preaching, which this central focus of this seminar will be framed in the Apostolic Pentecostal tradition.
The ministerial leader has
a human side as well. Pastors and leaders are confronted with the same
challenges that their congregates face on a daily basis. This seminar will
concentrate on providing a contextual understanding of how leaders and
pastors should manage their social emotional components of their lives,
while focusing on serving the congregation and the community. Licensed and credentialed professionals, who are Apostolic Pentecostal, will offer suggestions and recommendations on how our leaders can manage emotional, psychological, historical family dynamics and related
impactful and life changing factors impacting their leadership in the church.
A Practicum of Lessons Learned from the Apostolic Pentecostal Perspective:
Female preachers continue to evolve in the Apostolic Pentecostal tradition and female leaders and preachers require a unique perspective of the ministry as shared by female pastors that have paved the way for a new generation of female preachers in the organization. This Continuing Apostolic Credit seminar will focus on lived experience, sage advice, ministerial protocols unique to female preachers, and
powerful lessons learned from being a female evangelist who have preached in all fifty states and international locations.
This survey webinar will provide an overview of internal and external factors impacting the development of a budget for the individual church leader. If will focus on aligning the membership
capacity with budgetary implications as aligned to the vision of the Pastor for the church. Individuals engaged in this seminar will be able to identify their major cost, expenditures, and cyclical spending trends and capacity to develop a fiscal plan focused on the strategic plan of the leader.
The backbone of an effective and engaged church is centered on the
qualities, skills and competences of auxiliary leadership. This webinar
will examine the leadership strategies to create, manage, and implement effective auxiliary leadership within the church, region, and national levels. Developing effective leadership skills to advance the vision of the Pastor, regional leaders and Diocesans will be shared. Each student will exit the webinar with a written outline of strategies to improve their leadership in church auxiliaries.
Every leader in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., should be required to take a course in the history of our organization. This seminar will focus on the historic and pivotal founding of the PAW; and identify key leaders responsible for advancing the organization. A historic perspective of how the PAW came to be where we are today and our relationship with other key Apostolic Pentecostal organizations will be provide; and students will depart the class with knowledge of our history,
and implications of their individual value to the continuation of the legacy of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc..
The 21st century Apostolic Pentecostal pastor has multiple roles to play as a leader of the flock and has responsibility for developing strategic plans, financial oversight, and managing the organization. A Chief Executive Officer has significant tasks that are like that of a pastor, who must develop a collective vision for the church and provide leadership for the vision, developing resources, collaborating and leading a board of trustees and deacons. The Pastor as Chief Executive class will be a 3-semester hour class and comprise approximately 45 hours of contact and class activities.
(This class is limited to the first ten students who register). This class will be offered on Monday evenings.
